The practice of meditation began thousands of years ago with the intention of improving the quality of life and liberating one's self from emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual barriers.

CLASS DETAILS 

Classes take place every Wednesday evening at 5pm and Saturday morning at 11 am

 

All ages 13+ are welcome, and all levels of practice are welcome

 

Class is $20 a person, and class size is capped at 20 people due to limited space, so book your class ahead of time!

CULTIVATING A MEDITATION PRACTICE...

 

Meditation is not about clearing your mind. It's about creating space for your inner wisdom to create amazing shifts in your mind, body, and life. There is no "right" way to meditate. Starting meditation practice is just like starting any other habit. You learn, grow, and improve over time! Meditation is a sacred time you set aside to BE with yourself. We live in a world where we are often disconnected, stressed, busy, or doubtful of ourselves. Meditation is where we can come home to ourselves and reconnect. Here are some motivating factors to start your practice!

"I don't have time for myself"

Self-care is not selfish! If you are the kind of person that feels guilty for taking time for yourself, meditation class is the perfect place to change this belief and honor your basic needs! 

"I can't sit still!" 

You don't have to! Again, meditation is not about clearing our your brain and not having single thought pass by. You will learn to be an observer of your thoughts and let them pass by. Also, people who struggle to sit still tend to be addicted to stress hormones - therefore, feeling the need to always be on the go or doing something. If that resonates with you, your nervous system NEEDS the rest and quiet time. You will get used to and learn to enjoy it, trust me. 

"I've tried it before and didn't feel anything"

Meditating on your own can be difficult and sometimes uncomfortable. What makes medication class different is your journey will be guided every step of the way by an expert. This will change your experience dramatically! If you've tried it before, try it again. The benefits are endless and this experience with Mariella will be different from what you've done before.

MEET MARIELLA  

Mariella has been a NBHWC health and life coach for 4 years, and been in the health and wellness industry for nearly 8. She nearly has her Master’s degree in clinical nutrition, and has been on her own extensive healing journey. She is the definition of practicing what she preaches. 

 

When struck with a host of symptoms and conditions resulting in chronic illness, Mariella realized that the mind and body are not separate. The body is designed to heal itself when we give it time, space, and the right environment. In addition to using holistic processes such as detoxes, cleanses, infared saunas, red light therapy, IV therapy, etc... she focused highly on regulating her nervous sytem, rewiring her brain, overcoming limiting beliefs, and releasing stuck trauma and unprocessed emotions. While she is still healing, she has come incredibly far.

 

She relied heavily on meditation for many of her mind-body practices and felt changes almost immediately. "I can't live without it, and I don't know how other people live without either! 

 

She is so excited to be building a meditation community and spreading the message of healing with others!
